Malique's internet schooling

Malique's Internet Schooling

I may have stepped in it now.  I agreed to help Malique, my grandson, with his K12 schooling on the internet.  Mary set it all up, and I was unaware that she made an account for me as a learning coach.  So I've missed a lot of introductory messages, conversations, and maybe videos.  Tomorrow the 22nd I am going to have to check if there are any email messages or K12 messages.    I've got to try and get away from watching television and settle into taking care of Bonnie, dishes, laundry, house cleaning(which up to now has been almost none existing), my doctor appointments, and now being a learning coach for Malique.  I need to weaning myself from the internet except to check my emails on msn.com and Gmail.  I've got to buckle down as best I can and learn not to get distracted from my chores.  Somehow this does not seem to be a likely scenario.

Malique is doing the online schooling on his own.  I am happy as I don't think I could have handled both taking care of Bonnie and helping Malique.

Malique comes over to use my Asus  laptop to do his school work.  Problem is he works a couple of hours, then he starts playing games; Minecraft, Steam games, and other games. I told him a couple of weeks or so to clear up his grades.  He has "F" in three subjects and he have more if he doesn't complete assignments that haven't been turned in.  So tonight I told him he can't come over until he gets the "F"'s removed. We will see how that goes.
